Over 5,000 research and academic staff, and over 25,000 students now have access to all World Scientific journals.

• Indian Medical Consortium trials World Scientific journals
  Trial Announcement: National Medical Library - Electronic Resources in Medicine (NML-ERMED) consortium in India will take part in trials for World Scientific medical and life science journals. The consortium aims to provide Medical e-resources to medical colleges and research institutions across India. As of 2009, they have 72 government funded institutions and 4 private institutions as members.

• Impact Factor 2008: M3AS remains top 10 Applied Mathematics journal
  Mathematical Models and Methods in Applied Sciences (M3AS) retains its spot among the top 10 journals in Applied Mathematics. Its impact factor increased from 1.671 to 2.333 this year, making it the 6th out of 175 journals in the ISI Applied Mathematics category.

• Impact Factor 2008: Three World Scientific journals more than doubled their Impact Factors
  Three (3) World Scientific journals registered a triple digit percentage increase in their impact factors. The journals are:
  • International Journal of Uncertainty, Fuzziness and Knowledge-Based Systems (IJUFKS) which increased by 166%
  • Coastal Engineering Journal (CEJ) which increased by 139%
  • International Journal of Geometric Methods in Modern Physics (IJGMMP) which increased by 121%
