Any manuscript on either theoretical development or practical applications of adaptive data analysis methods is welcome.

Submission

  1. Contributors should prepare their manuscript in English according to the style of the journal and submit the result pdf file to Managing Editor, Prof. Norden E. Huang at norden@ncu.edu.tw. The source files of the manuscript in the form of MS Word or Letex2e will be required after the paper's acceptance.
  2. Submission of a manuscript indicates a tacit understanding that the paper is not under consideration for publication with other journals. All contributions should be written in English with a brief abstract, a list of keywords and the author's mailing address. Authors are requested to put on the manuscript the mailing address to which proofs and reprint order form should be sent.
  3. All figures should be submitted with clear captions in separate encapsulated post-script files or image files of at least 300 dpi.
  4. Detailed instructions on how to prepare your manuscript are available on the journal's website at http://www.worldscinet.com/aada. Authors using PC- or Mac-based word-processors should follow the PDF formatting instructions in the package. Any manuscript, which does not conform to the above instructions, may be returned to authors for revision before publication. Upon acceptance, authors are required to submit their source file including all figure files for submission in TEX.

Page charge and color figures

  1. There is no limitation on the length of the manuscript. The first twenty pages will be free of page charge; any page beyond this limit will be charged at US$40 per page (excluding the authors' biography).
  2. The journal will produce color plates and figures at additional cost to be determined according to the nature of the request. Contributors have to pay the following additional cost:
    • US$200 for each color illustration.
    • An additional US$100 for Color Supporting Information that must be scanned.
  3. A single figure is defined as original art that can be processed as a unit and printed on one page without intervening type. Billing address and contact numbers, together with the manuscripts, should be provided during submission. Please indicate illustrations that are designated for color print.

Acceptance

  1. Upon acceptance of an article, the author(s) is/are assumed to have transferred the copyright of the article to the publisher.
  2. A biographical sketch and photograph of each author are also to be supplied to the Publisher.
  3. The first author of every published article will be provided with a free PDF of the published submission. Purchase orders for additional reprints can be made on order forms available upon request.
  4. Open access will be granted to a few specially selected articles from each issue in the formative two years of the journal. These papers will be featured on the journal's website and readers can download them free of charge.
