Proposed Theme and Topics

The proposed theme for this special issue is "Expanding Role of Operations Research in Industrial Engineering". The proposed topics for this special issue will include the Operations Research topics that are predominantly seen in Industrial Engineering contexts.

Brief Description of Topics

This special issue seeks for submissions from theory and practice that focus on Operations Research applications in Industrial Engineering, and it also serves as a post-conference issue for the IIE Asian Conference 2012. As such, we welcome authors with accepted abstracts and papers in the Proceedings of the IIE Asian Conference 2012 that are under the topics relevant to Operations Research to submit an extended paper to this special issue. In particular, the topics of interest include applications of Operations Research in, but are not limited to the following:
