Submission of papers

Online submission of all new manuscripts to the Coastal Engineering Journal is required after January 2009.

Authors submit manuscripts to the Coastal Engineering Journal through the online review system of Editorial Manager. The manuscripts will be reviewed online by three reviewers within a few months. Manuscripts that arrive via email or post mail will not be processed. The authors will be contacted and asked to submit their manuscripts online instead. Access to Editorial Manager to register as a new user, view the author's tutorial, review submission requirements, and submit papers, technical notes, discussions, and closures.

The manuscript must be original and should not be submitted or published elsewhere. The editorial committee for the journal judges the acceptability of the manuscript for publication.

Authors need not be Society members and the publication charge is free.
