The December 2011 issue of the International Journal of Development and Conflict will be a special issue in tribute of Professor Murray Kemp on the occasion of his 85th birthday. Widely acknowledged as one of the world's foremost economic theorists of our time, Professor Murray Kemp is instantly recognizable to most academic economists. His published works in economic theory are both familiar to and greatly valued by generations of economists and graduate students around the globe. In a distinguished academic career spanning over six decades, Murray Kemp has consistently made fundamental contributions to many areas of economic theory including welfare economics, exhaustible resources and international trade.
