Instructions for Authors
The review process of the IJDC is designed to provide authors with timely decisions.
All submissions will receive an initial in-house review to filter out manuscripts that are
inappropriate for various reasons such as excessive length, falling outside the scope of the
journal, or generally lacking the requisite quality to warrant demands on referees' time.
The remaining manuscripts will be peer-reviewed under the supervision of the editor for
the relevant subfield. The review process will be double-blind with referees and authors
remaining anonymous. Referee reports will be advisory but not definitive in the editors'
decisions. Revise and resubmits will be used sparingly.
Submissions
Submissions shall be made by email to Partha Gangopadhyay. Submissions should be non-anonymous, double-spaced, with 12-point font.
Production Process
We use modern production techniques to create both printed and online formats of articles.
These processes have been developed to streamline the final version to publication stage.
Accepted manuscripts will be copy-edited and proofread, so it is not necessary to prepare
camera-ready copy.
Abstract & Keywords
Please provide an abstract of not more than 150 words and keywords for the paper. The
abstract will appear in various online and printed abstract journals.
Citations and References
Citations should conform to the style guidelines of the American Economic Review: Style
Guide (http://www.aeaweb.org/sample_references.pdf). The references must be provided
in alphabetical order, at the end of the paper. During production, we will use these references
to create links to the cited articles that are available on the Internet.
Figures and Tables
After a manuscript is accepted for publication, graphics for the final version must be submitted
as separate files. When supplying color figures or halftones (photos), ensure that
there is sufficient contrast to enable clear black and white printing. Use either Times New
Roman or Arial typefaces on all figures. Do not put boxes around figures. Halftones should
be supplied in 300 dpi resolution.
Copyright
Contributions submitted to the IJDC should be original and should not be under consideration for any other publication at the same time. Contributors warrant that the work is not an infringement of any existing copyright and will indemnify World Scientific of any breach of such warranty. Upon acceptance of a paper for publication, the authors will sign agreements to transfer the copyright to World Scientific. The work submitted by the contributor and published by the journal will thus become the legal copyright of World Scientific.
